To take an exam using our Proctor 360 online proctoring solution, candidates must meet specific identification, environmental, and technical requirements.

Identification Requirements

  • Valid Photo ID: Candidates must present a valid, in-date, government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, driver’s license). The ID must not be expired and should clearly display the candidate’s name and photo.
  • Name Matching: The full name on the ID must match the name on the exam account. If there are discrepancies, candidates should contact support for assistance.

Testing Environment

  • Private Room: Candidates must take the exam in a private, secure room without any other individuals present. Public venues or libraries are not allowed.
  • Lighting: The room should have bright, daylight-quality lighting. Overhead lighting is preferred, and the light source should not be behind the candidate.
  • Clean Desk: The testing area must be a clean desk or table, free of any writing or materials.
  • No Distractions: The environment should be quiet, with no music or television sounds. Candidates must not communicate with anyone during the exam and should not leave the room unless permitted.

Technical Requirements

  • Internet Connection: A high-speed internet connection is required, with a recommended upload and download speed of at least 10 Mbps. Candidates should test their broadband connectivity for quality and capacity before the exam.
  • Supported Computers: Windows Desktop or Laptop, Apple Desktop or Laptop, Chromebook.  Mobile phones and tablets are NOT supported.
  • Supported Browsers: Proctor 360 only supports Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Candidates should ensure they are using the latest versions of these browsers. If you are on an Apple device, please download the Chrome browser here: https://www.google.com/chrome/
  • Single Monitor: Candidates must use a single display; additional monitors should be disconnected before the exam.
